I couldn't decide where to begin from, so I figured in April before Addison arrived would be a good place. At the last minute (just about the only way Tim and I do anything.....starting with getting married and more recently going to California) Tim and I decided that instead of flying up after I had Addy, it would work out better for us if I had her up in Alaska. That way we could know that Tim would be there for the birth, and I would be able to get our business in order before she arrived. Wow was that the longest road trip......a three year old, and an eight month pregnant lady....not to forget Stella our basset hound. Poor Tim never thought we were going to make it. He usually "roughed" it and when doing it alone would sleep in the truck a few of the nights. Not this trip. I think it took us a solid week. Which is still pretty good time considering the handicaps. But oh it is sure good memories. We saw a bunch of caribou, some Dahl sheep, and three wolves that ran out in front of us. My least favorite part was the hotels we stayed in through Canada.....you just have to do it to know what I mean. We stayed at this one place in the middle of nowhere I think it was called "Big Foot Inn" or something like that. I couldn't even bring myself to get under the sheets that night. I had my own little twin on the side.....then you have Tim, Peyton, and Stella on the Full next to me. I have to laugh out loud thinking about that. Tim was so worried about me going into labor on the road, that he did a pretty good job catering to whatever I needed. I usually got to sleep alone with my feet up. He usually got the 3 year old and the non-stop drooler........sorry Stella I don't think I can ever sleep with you! But looking back on that trip it was a lot of fun, I can't believe that we did that!
