We were SO EXCITED that Grandpa Kelly let us take his train set......Max is totally obsessed with them and was in heaven!! He played and played with it until it literally didn't play any more.....they say all of the parts are replaceable! I really hope so, sorry Grandpa!!

So here are some random things that the Kelly's have been doing to keep busy.....

Peyton played soccer

Peyton's school took this picture on 9-11....I thought it was pretty neat!

Everyday Max lets Stella in about 15-20 times and I tell him that she can't come in because she is too dirty and stinky......so I came into the kitchen to find him with wet wipes. He said "Tella tinky mom, I wipe". I thought it was so funny that he thought her belly was where she is stinky:) I love two year olds, exhausting YES but so cute!

Another thing Max does on a daily basis is he will go into our closet and pull down a few soft shirts, or he will look around our house to find anything that he can cuddle up with....bed skirts, pillow shams, anything he can pull out of anywhere. Then he will find me and usually lay down where ever I am, and grab on to my pants with one hand and put his fingers in his mouth with the other hand and just lay and chill for a while. In this picture he got three of Dads shirts out of the closet and laid on the floor next to me while I was writing an email......I looked down when I finished and here he was sound asleep at about 10 in the morning!

Max is getting a lot of commentary, but he just cracks us up! Every Friday night we have Family Movie Night. This movie was called Little Bigfoot, when we got to the place in the movie where we finally saw the Little Bigfoot, Max was acting really scared and then disappeared around the corner. A few minutes later he comes back out with this gun and just stands in front of the tv and shoots him until he feels better about the situation:) It was hilarious!!

Every Wednesday Addi goes to her dance class with a bunch of her preschool friends, it is her favorite time of the week. (Although piano lessons comes in a very close 2nd)

Addi got this doll from Grandma and Grandpa Kelly for her Birthday last year and has grown very fond of her. She even shares her pillow with her at night and when Addi comes in to sleep with us in the middle of the night (which is almost every night these days) she says her dolly is just crowding her out of her bed!! Go figure, I try to explain that she can have her doll sleep on her little throw pillow, no apparently she has to sleep on her Mommy's pillow! I also have to promise to take care of her and feed her snacks while she is at preschool everyday. She is going to be such a good mommy!

I guess this is what happens when your best friend is your older sister....you will do anything she tells you to do! The thing that kills me is that if Peyton would have ever dressed up like this we would of had a heart attack! It's so hard being the oldest.....when you are the youngest all that mom does is grab the camera!

Halloween 2011

This year Peyton was BoBo Fet from Star Wars (I'm sure that isn't spelled even close to right). Addi was a witch. And Max was Peter Pan. I just love that little costume:) I bought it for Peyton when he was 2 and then our cousin Thayne wore it and passed it back to Max.....just love those handy downs as my kids call them:) HANDY!

Here is an attempt to capture the hilarious way Max would TRY to blow on his "TOO HOT" food....it was more spit than air and always made us laugh.....well as you will see he is too well trained to just say "CHEESE" whenever a camera appears:) But we love this video and it makes us laugh every time we watch it. Putnam Reunion 2011

We made a very quick trip out for my huge family reunion this year. My Grandma Elda and her daughters were over it this year. The theme was the Olympics, our family was the Vickhams (my Grandma and Grandpa's last name is Wickham). It was so much fun getting everyone together and seeing the family! It is one of my kids favorite things to do! (OK mine too:) Peyton just wants to know why we have to do it over Labor Day and why it can't be in the summer and be a week long!

The first night we got to the reunion we dropped off all of our camping gear and headed up to Bear Lake to see a Play at the Pickleville Playhouse. This is the third year in a row we have gone and Peyton LOVES Jaunito Bandito he is hysterical......we grabbed him after the show for a quick picture:)

We were so lucky to have the Neilsons come up to our reunion for an afternoon. Poor Jordan wasn't even feeling good that day and was such a trooper and stayed so we could all catch up! We miss them SO much, and it was such a treat to have them come and see us!

Where do I start about our little guy?

He is just at such a fun age and I just want to freeze him in time! He is such a sweet heart....but don't think that red hair doesn't shine through at times!! Here is a little list of facts about Max at 2:

1. He thinks he is big enough to do whatever his older sister is doing. If she is going on a play date...don't even think about leaving him behind! Luckily my friend totally gets it and lets him stay and play too. His latest thing is telling me "non (mom) I go house n pay (play)"? He literally repeats it over and over and when we finally pull in to our house it is a major melt down and he is totally heartbroken. I try to explain that all of the kids are at school and that I will play with him.....no dice!

2. He is mommy's little helper around the house here are a few of the ways he "helps" :)

a. Missing shoes for days mysteriously show up in the washing machine.

b. After eating at his little table in the kitchen I go to put something in the trash only to discover that he put his plate and fork in the trash, trying to help me clean up. :)

c. As I begin to load up the dishwasher I notice a bunch of bright colored things in the bottom....it's his blocks, apparently he thought they were a little dirty.

I have to add about all of the "help" he is when we visit Grandma and Grandpa Kelly, he will go into Grandpa's office for a while to play. Then Grandpa gets to play the following days, If I were Max where would I have put this? He has found things in the garbage, in the printer, in the fan, you name it Max has taken it and put it in some crazy spot..... ;-)

3. His obsession at the moment isTrains and anything that even looks train"ish". Including semi trucks, ups trucks, and even camp trailers. We get a loud "CHOO CHOO TRAIN", it started when we drove out to Wyoming for our big family reunion. We saw so many trains on that drive and he would about have a heart attack every time we saw one, SO cute! This last weekend we went to the train museum in Sacramento and needless to say he was in heaven! We got him a little toy train at the gift shop and he has carried it around ever since. We lost it one day and I was sure his world was going to end. All day long he would take my hand and say "nonny, choo choo trian yost it" and we would look some more. We finally found it by the way in the doll house inside of the play train, I am sure he put it there playing:)

4. His favorite things to do are: play with his sister, (they will literally disappear for hours in their rooms and just play together, it is so nice) wrestle with his dad, play horsey and airplane rides with mom, and to play with Stella.

Things we love about her at four:

*She loves helping me take care of Max, they are pretty much inseparable and when she goes to preschool he is totally lost.

* She is always talking to me about how worried she is that she won't know how to be a good mom when she grows up. She will say things like mom I love this dinner, will you teach me how to make it when I am a mom? Or will get upset about random things like not knowing how to fold the laundry like me and will say she will never be a good mom..... or will tell me she is taking care of Max so she can practice being a mom. So cute she is even thinking about that at such a young age!

* What she wants to be when she grows up: A doctor, and a mom, but she wants to live with us:)

* Favorite color: Pink and purple....always and for everything, her room has alternating pink and purple walls decorated with a princess castle and butterflies, just the way she wanted it!

*Favorite things to do: Puzzles, color, draw, practice writing her name, playing games (favorites at the moment are trouble, candy land, cooties, and bowling on the wii), playing dress up usually like a fairy princess, swimming, and of course wrestling with her dad :-)

*Favorite food at the moment: Bean burritos, (she could eat them breakfast, lunch, and dinner) pizza, string cheese, scrambled egg sandwiches, and any kind of chocolate (especially chocolate ice cream)!

She loves her cousin Grace, she looks up to her a lot ;)

This was her graduation from Pepper Preschool.....she LOVED this school, still asks all of the time when we get to go back and visit!

Easter Fun 2011

We got invited to the annual Michelucci Easter egg hunt. There were so many kids....and SOOO many fun things to do, the kids were in heaven!!

Easter morning....it was GREAT other than Tim was working overtime and didn't make it home to see what the kids got from the Easter Bunny!! He got home at about 8 in the morning from his overnight shift.....of course the kids woke up at 6 and it was impossible to get them to wait!

After we left Utah we stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Kellys house. We were hoping to be able to find a place the month of December and start Peyton somewhere in Sacramento in January. We weren't even close to finding a house that quickly. So we ended up putting Peyton in school in Petaluma at McNear Elementary for the rest of the year. It is the same Elementary that Tim went to. Peyton even got to go to the same first grade classroom that Tim went to!

The school play this year was Peter Pan. The first graders got to do the opening song "Crocodile Rock". It was adorable. Peyton missed a few of the first practices because we were in Wyoming and I tried to talk him into just watching this year.....he said he would feel left out and really wanted to do it. He did such a good job and worked extra hard learning the words and dance. He was so glad he did it, they had a blast!

This next one is kind of hard to see but I was trying to take a picture of the two kids very front and center....Addison and Peyton! I don't know how they worked their way up to those spots!

Wedding, Cousins, and Friends

The kids and I were able to go out to Wyoming for my most favorite youngest brothers wedding!! We got to spend about ten days and LOVED every minute we got to spend with family and friends. My whole family is just ecstatic to add Mary to our family she is so adorable and we all love her to death! Welcome to our crazy family Mary!!:)

DISNEYLAND!!

Put your seat belt on for major photo overload!! But this was our FIRST time to Disneyland and we had a BLAST!! Our kids still ask us at least weekly when we are going to go back....It is totally magical! Yes we were totally exhausted every night, but in a good way.

We were lucky enough to have Grandma go on our trip to be our tour guide, she has been a ridiculous amount of times. Peyton always tells people that "my Grandma is a big fan of Mr. Disney" and it is so true, she was just as excited to go as the kids were (OK I must confess Tim and I were pretty excited too:)!

Here is the start of our road trip....My sister-in-law actually wrote down how many times her kids asked "ARE WE THERE YET", ya I didn't do that.....it must have been fifty by the time we got out of Petaluma!

We stayed in the Disneyland Hotel. I LOVED our room! It had just been renovated and it had an awesome view of the fireworks. The headboard was stars and fireworks with lights shining through for a nightlight, and it you could even push a button and it would play "When You Wish Upon a Star"!

This was our first day there, we were pretty tired from driving all day and it was kind of raining but we were all too excited to just go to bed!

This next one is the Finding Nemo ride....which we probably went on at least five times. They loved this one, every time we would walk by Max would start screaming "MEEMO, MEEMO" until we would get in line again:)

This is a picture of the Star Wars demo they had....we watched it twice and Peyton got picked to be in the Padawan training both times!! It was a such a fun show he had a blast!

During the second Star Wars demo we were sitting there waiting for it to start when I look over and see this guy sitting there.....I do a couple of double takes, and then elbow Tim to see if I am crazy. Sure enough, Nicholas Cage is sitting there!! His daughter was there in the audience wanting to get picked (and almost didn't get picked until daddy-o stood up and started jumping up and down too).

Peyton's 7th Birthday!

This year Peyton celebrated his Birthday with family and a couple of friends....The neighbors across the street from Grandma and Grandpa's house came over (Boss and Bianca) and also Jack, who was a classmate. It was a fun night, the highlight being when daddy came home and showed them all of his "work toys" as you can imagine their eyes were big and they all thought it was pretty cool! I told him that it was nice having him, I didn't have to worry about entertainment at all :-)

Also if you can see what this last picture is.....it is what we gave to the kids for all of their birthdays this year. They each got to open one, they say...."We are"...."Going to"......"DISNEYLAND!!!" I tried to upload the video of the whole thing but I think it was to long. It was pretty hilarious!!

Where to Start?

So behind I am almost tempted to just give up this blogging thing!! But I know I have friends and family that are wanting to see what is happening in our little corner of the world.

WOW what a year this has been for our family! Looking back from the time Tim left for training in June, then got back in October, and started his new job in Sacramento.....finally got our house sold in November, and we were lucky enough to join him in California at Grandma and Grandpa Kelly's house! What a rude awakening they were in for, going from a nice quiet retired lifestyle to BOOM family of five with little kids!! But we made it through...and like my Mother-in-Law said, it was a success because we are all still friends and talking to each other! So what was an intended one month stay with them turned in to seven months....as we quickly found out how hard finding a place to live, with a good school, in a good area, in a court, and of course with a swimming pool (as promised to my kids when we left Utah:). What a lot of work that was! I am so thankful for my mother and father in law, for putting up with the chaos, mess, and insanity! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!

Trip to Georgia!!

Peyton and I took a trip out to Georgia to see dad. Were we just a LITTLE excited to go? Yes!! I didn't tell Peyton until we were on our way because I didn't want to risk him telling his sister. It was so cute when I finally did tell him he just kept saying "Mom are you just kidding me?" He couldn't believe he got to go on an airplane ride, stay at a hotel on the beach with a swimming pool not to mention see his absolute favorite person in the world!!! We had such a fun trip just the two of us! He is such a fun kid with a great outlook on life. Love him to death!

Does he look just a little happy to be with his dad? It almost makes me cry seeing this picture!

He got a star wars book at the book fair and had to take it because you know I am just not into it enough for him....I don't know all of the people and places for him:)

We went to the sea turtle center and got to see some of the sea turtles that they are taking care of at this facility....it was pretty amazing and Peyton loved seeing them and talked to the staff about all of it for such a long time it was so cute. We got every story about every sea turtle...from the one that had a stroke and can't dive anymore, to one that lost a flipper from a shark they think! It was a fun way to spend an afternoon:)

On the flight home Peyton got on the plane and shook the captains hand and said hello. Then he asked Peyton if he would like to go up front to see the cock pit.....UM YESSSS! He sat up there and talked to the co-pilot the whole time people were boarding asking about every button and scenario....I loved when he told him he knew what to do if he and the pilot got knocked out....he said we just have to find another pilot in the plane to land us! He had been asking me the whole trip if he could go up front, I kept telling him that he needed to be invited, so this was the PERFECT ending to our trip (minus the two hour delay in the runway on our next plane). Luckily Peyton fell asleep right when we got delayed so he didn't know the two hour leg took us four and a half....he woke up when we landed in Salt Lake and said "AAHH we're there already that was too fast" You could hear all of the people around us chuckle!

Here are a few pictures of our reunion this year.....my kids are starting to like it as much as I did growing up. Some of my most memorable childhood memories took place here, hiking, singing, dancing, games from cards to football and of course eating way to much food!! Every year we have a different theme. This year we all got t-shirts to support a cause within our big extended family. Donations went to family members that have had health problems this year! We were also so glad Tim got to come home for a couple of days and join in on the fun!

There's a first time for everything!

Feels like there have been a lot of firsts at our house lately....

First day of First Grade! I am sure it was harder for mom than for him! Does that look like a sad face to you? He was SO excited for his first day, to ride the bus, and to eat lunch at the cafeteria. I on the other hand was an emotional wreck. Maybe it was because Tim wasn't here, maybe it was because it is SO long for him to be away from me, maybe it is just because he feels so grown up. I don't know why but first grade definitely threw me for a loop!

A quick story I heard through the grapevine from a mother who has a girl in his class. She told her mom that Peyton is so funny, she said one day their teacher went out into the hallway to talk to the principal and Peyton decided to get up in the front and pretend to be the teacher!!! Apparently he even picked up a stack of worksheets and started handing them out! I don't think he even knows what the words shy or reserved mean! Luckily when Mrs. Miller came back in she wasn't mad at him, she just told him that she would take it from here.... I have tried to ask him about it but he WILL NOT tell me about it at all! OK one more quick story....Becky my neighbor (and Peyton's second mom these days) had her two kids and Peyton on a walk. I guess they ran into the custodian of Peyton's school. Peyton says "hey there is the wrapper guy." The custodian said to Becky, "I didn't know these were your kids," "No these two are, this one isn't." "Well, Peyton calls me the wrapper guy which I guess is better than some other names, but if he sees me out picking up garbage he will come over and help me." I was so happy to hear such a good story about my little Peyton. I told him that it made me feel so proud of him that he would help someone else when he wasn't asked. He smiled and gave me a hug and said "Well mom you just trained me that way....." Ah one moment that I felt maybe of all of the wrong things I have done to my kids, maybe I did one thing right?

These next two are Peyton's first day of Kindergarten (last year)....mom just had to add this one in! I have to tell the story about his first day. Notice how he is running to the bus and is the last one on? We were all ready to go, mom was actually on time for once....we were walking out the door when Peyton stops, looks at me and says "I have to go potty mom.....#2!" I am thinking to my self "NO YOU TAKE FOREVER" but couldn't tell him that because when you have to go....you have to go! So I tell him to hurry and go, well about 5-10 minutes later we were out the door and barely I mean BARLEY made the bus.....WHEW! Sorry about the frantic start to kindergarten Pey!

First sleepover.....outside!

I promised Peyton that when he turned six he could have a sleep over. Well Sydney had a few of her cousins over and they were going to have a sleepover on the trampoline, and invited Peyton. He was in heaven, they froze all night but had so much fun!

Addi's first day of Dance Class! There is her teacher Miss Rebbecca. So far she is loving her dance class. My favorite thing about watching her is how much she LOVES to look at herself in the mirror. She twists her neck off when they are going around in circles....it is SO cute!

First day of Preschool! I had Addison signed up to go to the same preschool that Peyton went to, but thought we would be moving so I pulled her out of it. Well obviously that was a bad idea because we are still here.....but I got a call from a group of moms that are starting a little preschool/playgroup. It is just once a week and I think it is going to be just perfect!

This post may be the longest you have ever seen! But I am officially caught up blogging WAHOO!! That makes me so happy:) I got motivated to catch up so Tim could see what we have been doing this summer, so this one is for you daddy...we love and miss you!!

This was a picture taken this spring....our neighbors came and told us that from their porch this rainbow looked like it went perfectly over our house. Looking back it was taken only a few days before we got the news about Tim's job....life was simple, and normal.

These are a few pictures of Lagoon. We had been promising to take the kids this summer and we were able to fit it in just a few days before Tim left for training. Thanks Aunt Tina for watching Max! We had a blast that day. My kids talk about it all of the time and Peyton says that he is going to drive there by himself when he turns 16....oh and that he wants to work there when he gets older:)

We snuck behind the house to see what they were up to and they were playing in my parents empty sandbox that had collected some nasty sprinkler water. But they were having a grand ol' time!

My parents had some babies living around their house, they are so cute...when they are tiny. My dad was tempted to get their sprayers taken out (is that what they do?) and have one as a pet. The kids would watch for them to be walking around the house then would run outside to see them. We looked out the back door one morning and Addi saw them and ran outside....by the time I got out there she was standing about a foot from one of them!! I was sure she was going to get sprayed but luckily she didn't!

I look at these pictures and am blown away that I have three kids....that play and fight with each other. But have to say I love how my kids tell each other that they love each other a lot and give each other lots of hugs! Peyton is staying in Wyoming right now and Addison has been so lost without him. She will say with her hands on her hips "where is my Peyton mom and when is he coming home?" "I just wuuuv him."

The story about Peytons tooth/teeth. Well he has lost about four this summer, he is looking like a jack-o-lantern about now. He had a loose top tooth for a few days when we were in Wyoming at my parents house.....well he was to scared to pull it out so we left and started driving home. Tina had bought the kids popcorn and they were eating and watching a movie when all of a sudden Peyton yells out "I lost my tooth"! "Good honey" I told him...slight pause then "I SWALLOWED IT!!!" this was followed by a very dramatic few minutes which consisted of crying, coughing, and trying to get it to come back up. Well with no luck I assured him that the toothfairy would still come, and we could just explain the whole situation to her.....After finally convincing him that it was going to be ok, he calmed down. Here is the note he left for her.... Sorry that I swallowed my tooth, Love Peyton....it was adorable! Well he is at my parents house right now and two nights ago lost another tooth in the middle of the night.....and he SWALLOWED that one too!!!

Oh yeah life is good! OK so that is all of the pictures I have of his birthday...I don't know what happened. I had dinner (spaghetti if you couldn't tell:) for everyone before the party and I guess I was so busy I didn't pick up the camera enough.....sorry Max! I did get some video of him eating his cake though. Oh and the story with his presents.....When we got done watching him eat his cake, we found the Addi and Ava in my room with all of his presents opened!! Third children are so neglected.....he was happy just playing with the wrapping paper though!

Max has been such a fun happy-go-lucky kid. He has such a good temperament and is always smiling and happy. I love how he is just learning how to walk and I will have him standing up next to something trying to coax him into taking a step and he just stands there and laughs so hard that he falls over.....and then we do that over and over. Now he just thinks I stand him up so he can laugh. Oh well, we just sit and laugh at him. I love it how he is so excited to see me in the morning. When I go in to get him he will start laughing and jumping up and down. He is also in love with being outside, which is not a great thing because we have NO yard. So we either play on the neighbors lawn which we do quite regularly or we play in and eat the dirt! When will he learn that it doesn't taste good? He recently figured out how to open my doors, and I would catch him trying to escape outside....I have that on video too.

His first word was "Ad-di", now he is also saying "hi Addi" and "hi Daddy" when we see him on the computer. He loves to talk to dad and gets so excited and just wants to kiss the screen the whole time. He loves Stella and he will crawl over to the patio doors and talk to her through he glass. He also loves to see the horses in our back field and when we go to my parents he just stares at all of the animals in my dads den and says "whas-at" and points to them. The last thing I wanted to add about this little guy that is so cute is when he is in his chair anticipating getting food. Well he is just starting to like to do everyting by himself and when I actually give him the food he looks at me for a minute and then looks at the food then looks back at me and giggles like "I can't believe she just gave me this, I am going to make such a mess" then he proceeds to make a huge mess...kinda like this :)

You are such a fun little boy Max, we love you!

It's hard to see what is happening in this picture but this was Peyton's present to her, he put a bunch of stuff in his favorite bakugan (sp?) case and and wrapped it up and gave it to her...he did it all on his own it was so cute that he wanted to give her something.

She got a sleeping bag....that she has wanted forever so that her and Peyton could have camp outs together.

These are dress up dresses from Grandma and Grandpa Kelly. She has loved these dresses so much, she wears the pink one at least four times a week.....has even worn it to Wal-Mart with her dress up Cinderella shoes:) I

I can't believe that she turned 3!! It seems like yesterday I up in Alaska having her. She is such a sweet little girl. She loves to help me with Max, she gets me diapers-and helps put them on. Max loves playing with her too. I will go check on them to see what they are doing and she will be dancing or jumping around just to make him laugh....it is so stinking cute. She loves to make people laugh. Her favorite color this year is BLUE (except for the dress, she has to have the pink one- whoever is over playing gets the blue one). She loves playing with her cousins and talks about them all of the time.

She has had a hard time with her dad being in training. I think out of all of us she has been the most out of sorts. She is such a daddy's girl and talks about him all of the time. And yes Tim is wrapped around her little finger. I feel so bad when I will let her talk to him and all that she will say is "I love you daddy, I want you to be home, I just don't want you to be in training anymore" then she gives a little sniff sniff. It is just heartbreaking for Tim to talk to her. So I have to limit those conversations for the sanity of all of us!

Frosty the tennis player?? We didn't have another stick so he got a tennis racket.....we got the idea from our neighbors snowman who was also playing tennis, it was pretty funny they looked like they were playing a match...

So this was our Christmas this year. There wasn't many pictures, and I have to thank Uncle Kevin for the ones we do have. He drove out and spent Christmas with us and I am feeling terrible I have no pictures with Uncle Kevin!! But it was a rough Christmas for me..... Christmas morning was underway and the kids were in heaven. I started feeling a little light headed and shaky, well by the time all of the presents were opened I was on my death bed. Ok I probably wasn't dying but it was the first time I have been so sick that I literally could NOT get out of bed!

I felt so bad for my family....Tim was just going "you must be really sick to be in bed on Christmas....or you better be":) The thing that was a huge bummer was that I was supposed to have Christmas dinner at my house! Anyways to make a really long story short, I didn't have hardly any pictures of Christmas, missed the kids playing with toys all day, and missed Christmas dinner. Although my sister Tracy did still bring the ham over for Tim, Kevin and the kids.....thanks aunt Tracy! Good thing I already had some of the sides ready!

The day after Christmas I was actually feeling a lot better so we decided to take Uncle Kevin up to see the elk refuge. I am not sure if he got exactly what I had or it was my husbands driving going up the canyon....lol! But by the time we got up to see the elk we headed straight to the restrooms and Uncle Kev lost his lunch! Needless to say we didn't end up going on the sleigh ride to see the elk. We headed home (this time with Kevin driving) so he could go sleep for a while. Quite the crew huh, Tim was so annoyed that we were both so sick!

Looking back I can sit here and laugh at the whole situation, Kevin we are so glad you came out to spend Christmas with us!!!

Can I just tell you all how in love I am with this kid.....it was the best surprise ever that he was a boy, was sure I was having a girl but really really wanted a boy that had blue eyes like his dad and sucked his thumb because I think that is so stinkin cute (ok Max so you suck your first two fingers instead....still cute) and then as the biggest added bonus I wasn't even expecting was the RED HAIR!!! I so hope it stays red....people always ask "where did he get red hair?" "Well don't worry it will probably not stay!" As if it is a bad thing. Well Max I love it, and you are such a fun baby!

Well I wanted to come and write down the story of having little Max while I can still remember all of the details. I was due with him on June 2nd (my mother in law's B-day). That is where we got Hunter, it is her maiden name. When I was 37 weeks my doctor checked me and said I was dilated to a 2 and 95% effaced, which was a huge surprise to me because with the other two I never dilated until I was in labor. She thought there was a chance I would go a week or two early. Telling that to a woman who is hugely pregnant is pretty much torture because you get in your head you could have the baby any time. Well a week and a half before I was due I got asked to speak in church......I told Brother Radford, I will talk as long as you have a back up plan in case I go in to labor. Well needless to say I spoke in church on Sunday and then Monday night started having pains through out the night. I woke up on Tuesday just not feeling quite right, but wasn't convinced that I was in labor for sure yet. So I told Tim that I wasn't feeling that great, but I knew if I told him to stay home from work I for sure wouldn't be in labor. So he left for work (45 minutes away) and then of course I started having more and more pain. When I was for sure it was labor I called him after he had been working for about an hour and told him sorry but he had to come home.....NOW. I got to the hospital at about 12:30, and my doctor called over to tell me that she was going to send another doctor in to break my water. I didn't really want them to do that until I had my epidural, but that didn't happen. When he broke my water he said that there was some meconium, so be prepared to have him go to the NICU after he was born. The pains kept getting stronger and stronger until I was sure I was going to die, the guy finally came in to give me my epidural. I told him, "just make sure you do it good, my last one only worked on half of me." "Oh really did you deliver here?" "No actually it was in Alaska." "Really where at?" "Soldotna." "His name wasn't Nels Anderson was it?" "WHAT, yeah actually it was!!!" "Oh I went to school with him here in Logan." We all got a good laugh from that (once the medicine set in;). Once I had my epidural everything was going ok, then Max's heart rate dropped lower than they like and the doctor said that if he did that again we were probably going to have to take him c-section. But the next time they checked me I was at an 8, and before we knew it I was ready to push! We were all so excited to see if I was going to have a girl or boy. My mom, and sisters Tracy and Tina were in the room with Tim and I. All I remember was giving that final push and watching this little baby come out and dying to see if it was a girl or boy, and seeing this little pee-pee and thinking WHAT? I was 99% sure I was going to have a girl.....It really was one of the best surprises I have ever had!! He came out and did GREAT, he didn't have to go to the NICU and had no respiratory problems what so ever. It was an amazing experience and we are so blessed to have him in our lives.

Peyton loved going to Tiny Tots Preschool he had awesome teachers, Teacher Linda (Johnson) and Teacher Jen (Caldwell). If you notice the medal that he is wearing around his neck....that was because he earned his Masters since he attended two years at Tiny Tots. It was so cute because after his graduation he told me that he thought that his friends were all jealous that he is their "master" now:)

Well here is our little princess....I am finally able to blog again after almost a year!

Since she is going to turn three here in a couple of months I better get to her 2nd Birthday!

She is so sweet....and stubborn at the same time. She can pretty much do whatever she sets her mind to. Potty training her was a breeze....gave her some stickers and told her she would get a reward and that was all it took.

She is such a girlie girl and loves everything and anything pink and sparkly. She loves me to do her hair in the morning but has to look at herself in the mirror first to make sure it is cute first! When I put her down for her nap before she lays down she always asks me if it is ok if she messes her hair up...cracks me up! Have to say a word about your hair when you were two.....glad that it is getting better, but you started losing all of your hair. Scared mommy to death what a bad mom I am, were you stressed, mal-nouished, or what? So I took you to the Dr. who had nothing to really tell me, then one day a lady came by the house that wanted to know if you got a hold of the scissors...nope I told her, her hair is just falling out.....well she was a foot zoner and told me to bring you by sometime and she would take a look. Well she found that you have a dairy allergy that threw off your pituitary which caused your hair loss and eczema. Your hair is looking so much thicker now, but when you look back at these picts someday that is the story about your hair!

She has always been so sensitive to bad smells and icky things like boogers.....if she has to blow her nose (or if I am wiping Max's) she usually gags at least two times. Every time we walk by the seafood and fish at the grocery store she makes sure I know and everyone in a hundred foot radius "THAT FISH STINKY!" She wouldn't have been such a good Alaskan girl;)

I love that she loves to go out anywhere and everywhere with me and just like her big brother she is very outgoing and likes to say hello to just about everyone that she sees.

She has decided that she loves to go nursery at church (that only took about a year and a half to decide).....now everyday she wants to know when church day is.

Today (3/28/10) she sang in a group of about 10 other kids down our street for all of the ladies in our church. She was the youngest one and was absolutely adorable. She knew every single word (they sang "I'm tyring to be like Jesus"). She stood right up front and smiled and loved every minute of it. I wanted to cry watching her (Peyton was second most adorable).

Addison we are so lucky to have your sweet little spirit in our family....you definitely keep us all in line and we love you for it!

This weekend Peyton (and his "best buddy Carter") had a chance to try out Mutton Bustin at Smithfield Health Days. We kind of had to talk Peyton into trying it out. But all we had to tell him was that Carter was going to do it too! (I think that was what Carters mom was telling him to;). Carter had tried this one time before over Easter at Baby Animal Days, so he kind of knew what to expect. But in Baby Animal Days they had helmets, and protective vests, the whole works. Well they didn't have any of this stuff at this one. So you can imagine my nerves, as Tim put Peyton on.

The Fam Goes Fishin'

A few months back we decided to go fishing and try out Peyton's new fishing pole that Grandpa Redmon and Grandma Tami gave him for Christmas.

After a few lessons from dad on how to cast, we just let him try to figure the whole casting, and reeling thing out. He was getting frustrated that he kept getting caught on the moss at the bottom. But he was doing pretty good and being patient. Tim finally got his pole out and was having fun when Peyton goes "Mom I think I caught one" "You are just probably stuck on the bottom honey, do you need help?" Then all of a sudden the line took off and sure enough he caught one ALL BY HIMSELF!! Tim and I were shocked, it was so funny.

How patient he is with his sister, even when she has hand fulls of his hair shaking his head.....he doesn't hit her back.

The other morning he came out of his room and saw her up already and said to her "good morning sweetheart" he didn't even know I heard him, so cute!

He has a kind heart, at soccer he is always so concerned with the kids that fall down, wether they are on his team or not he runs over to offer them a hand.

One day when mom wasn't feeling so good he went in my room and made my bed for me, just because he thought "I needed help".

He always wants to help people that are outside working. Our neighbors were digging trenches for their rain gutters, he wouldn't come in until it was almost dark.

He really is a good kid and we Love him VERY much!

My Turn!

Here is our famous Pepperidge Farm cookie maker. She made these yummy cookies for us to decorate for Valentines Day!

These two are constantly in their own completely oblivious happy bubble. They are truly Bff's.They honestly probably think they are sisters and not cousins.They freak out when they see each other.They run off and play forever, til it's too quiet...then we have to see what mess they have gotten themselves into.To see them together is my favorite thing these days.If Addison is napping when we get to their house,Ava sneaks, one tip toe at a time...closer to her bedroom and thinks we don't see her...while continually looking back to see if we see her sneaking every so sneakily. So cute. So funny.Then Tiff says, "I think Addison's been asleep long enough. You can go get her."And as fast as she can run, takes off down the hall to her bedroom,opens the door, all by herself, and they start screaming each other's names with pure excitement! Love it.

Addison calls him daddy. So Ava calls him daddy. They both love and adore T.K. These kids are the kids that bring smiles to my face on a daily basis.

Christmas 2008

The Gingerbread house.
Auntie Linda sent this home with us at Thanksgiving. Approx. 8 hours, 3 sisters, and losing the roof a couple of times this was our finished product:-) Thanks Auntie Linda!

Going to see Santa. Addison wanted nothing to do with him, and we had to tell Peyton that there were other kids in line that wanted to talk to him......

He was going on, and on, and on!

Christmas Eve.....Addison stay out of Santa's cookies!

Christmas morning! A bow and arrow was all Peyton asked for Christmas this year. He was so excited when he opened this. This is the picture right before cranking back on it a bit too hard and busting it right in HALF!! Oh man DRAMA.....he was in tears saying Christmas was ruined, running to his room. I am laughing at the situation now (and someday you will too Peyton) but that was a little rough! Dad did seem to remedy the situation a bit with the trusty ol duck tape. I wish I had the after picture with the "cast". He did make sure to tell us that we were to send it back to the North Pole and make those elves fix it! Something that his mother sure hasn't done yet....

Redmon Christmas Party.

After opening all of our gifts Christmas morning. We loaded up and headed into probably the worst snow storm we have had this year. When we got back our neighbors told us they had to have someone come and plow our driveway for us. I guess there was about a five foot pile of snow sitting in our driveway from the snow plough. But we did eventually make it to Grandma and Grandpa Redmons to do a bit of celebrating. Wow is that side of the family growing fast!

My little Addison was more interested in putting the bows in her hair than the presents......such a girlie girl!

Christmas Day night Santa stopped by on his way back to the North Pole. Peyton was sure glad to see him to tell him all about the bow incident!

Peyton Gives a Talk

Peyton got asked to give a talk in Primary (Sunday school for kids). We practiced a few times at home and I knew he was going to do just great. If there is one thing that doesn't seem to scare that kid it is getting up in front of people. I actually think he thrives on it. Well just as we suspected he got up, and talked right into the mic (with me whispering in his ear of course) like he had done this a hundred times before, no problem. We finish up and he said the last part by himself....... "In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen". Ahhhhh we were finished, I walked back to sit down and noticed that Peyton wasn't following me. Just then he steps back up to the mic and says "aaaaaaa, I didn't hear any Amens???" I think my face turned bright red. Everyone just started laughing.......it was SUCH a Peyton moment.

OK just one more while I am thinking of Peyton stories in Primary. Before Christmas the kids were learning about the birth of Jesus and they acted out the nativity. Peyton was chosen to be a shepherd (the leader according to him:) We got to the part where they were talking about Mary riding to Bethlehem and the gal teaching said "Who knows what Mary rode all of the way to Bethlehem". My darling son who I swear knows this story because we read it all of the time yells out (before she can call on anyone with their hands up). "A GOAT". Trying not to smile the teacher said "no not a goat", "was it a SHEEP?" Peyton asks with his little nose turned up. By this point all of the leaders just couldn't hold it in any more and everyone was busting up. A DONKEY son it was a donkey..........(that last part was just in my head:)

Seriously......got to LOVE that kid!

Thanksgiving 2008

We got to spend Thanksgiving in California this year, with Tim's whole family. We don't get to see much of each other so it was really special, especially for the kids.....Peyton still tells us that when we are done living in Utah we are moving to Virginia to live by his cousins. He misses them and is always begging us to let him call and talk to them. Problem is that he doesn't ever want the conversation to end......which is complete torture for his cousins! But he does love his cousins! This is a collage that Sharon and I had my sis Tina make for us from a little photo shoot we had in Cali. Alanna is always saying that all she wants for Christmas from us is picts......so this is what we came up with. I think it turned out so cute. It was a little tricky getting all 7 kids out at the same time semi color coordinated, without having Grandma or Grandpa knowing what the heck was going on. We tried to tell grandma that the kids were hungry so we asked her to make lunch.....then we very sneakily took them outside.

Then we changed it up to send the rest of the cousins. Thanks Tina!

Fun in Papa Kelly's hot tub! Every spare second Peyton had, he was trying to coax one of his cousins to get in with him.
Uncle Dan and Aunt Jill had Thanksgiving for us ALL this year. It all turned out so nice, they had to move dinner out to the garage so we could fit everyone. They really spent a lot of time decorating and cooking and it was GREAT! Thanks for having us!

Hunter family get together. We are starting to get quite the little crew!

This was on the way back from the Hunter party in San Francisco. Peyton wanted to ride with the girls.....little did he know they were going to poop out and that their car DIDN'T have a DVD player! heee heee Life is rough;)

We got the chance to take the kids....(all but Addi, who stayed home for a grandma day;) to the zoo in San Francisco.

"Hey Girls Look at This!"

As I was dropping Peyton off at Preschool the other day. His teacher popped her head back in my van and said "I have to tell you"........ This is the phrase that now makes my heart skip a beat, and I just hope that it is something good, not bad or totally embarrassing!

During play time the other day, she said all of the girls were over playing with the doll house and barbies. Up walks Mr. Peyton and says "Hey girls look at this!" With one arm up and flexing. "And look at this one too!" Putting up the other one......she said he had his little legs bent posing too! Her and the other teacher were watching this whole scene unfold (without the kids knowing) and they thought they were going to die laughing! She said they are sure he is going to be a comedian.........or a womanizer, not sure which! Where he came up with that I truly don't know. Probably his favorite cartoon lately Tom and Jerry!
